The destination of your health related data is also very important. There are some hard disk recovery companies that have drives shipped off-site to laboratories located outside of the UK. Our company does not ship our customers' drives anywhere outside of the UK. All of the medical data recoveries performed by our employees take place in-house within the UK. As such, your patients' private medical information is never transmitted to any other country, nor handed over to another individual or entity. This protects all parties involved from potential international jurisdictional issues and simplifies compliance with GDPR regulations. Additionally, we maintain an auditable trail of who has handled your patients' private medical information, which may help support your organisation's compliance documentation requirements.

Prior to sending or dropping off your device for a diagnostic test (free), obtain a quotation from us via telephone or using the provided form. Step one: get the device to our Belfast bench. Carefully wrap the device and include your contact information inside the parcel. Then send it over. There is no charge for this diagnostic service. Once we receive it, you will be given a firm written price to confirm whether you wish to go ahead, before any work is done.
Sending it? The use of a tracked, insured delivery method would be recommended. Alternatively, dropping it off can also be done Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm; no prior booking required but do ensure that all items are packed accordingly.

We do not outsource any of our healthcare based recovery services. All of our healthcare based recovery services are performed here in the UK by our own engineers, so your data stays within UK jurisdiction.
Yes. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and comply with both the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018; health data is treated as special category data. We can provide documentation showing a chain of custody for your records if required.
Normally, yes. We recover and repair SQL Server and other clinical databases from failed servers and drives, rebuilding the data itself rather than just copying files across the network.
There is no on-site recovery or collection. Once you have a quote, drop off devices without an appointment or post them fully insured. If it is a server, please remove all disks and send them on their own. And for a NAS, please remove the disks as well if possible.
